HOW THIS SIMPLIST-EVER FUNDRAISER WORKS

Our goal is to make this fundraiser maximally easy to conduct.

The first step is to sign up by registering your school or other organization. At the bottom of this page you will be able to click Register Now. We need this official sign-up from someone in the organization (staff or volunteer) to be able to give the fundraising rebate.

Someone from our offices then will contact you to discuss how to tailor the fundraiser to your organization's particular needs.

• The Paper Method Choose a day or two for your sale. Have one or several volunteers set up a table where people come and go. Show sample books there, and takes orders.

  Schools may also send paper order forms home with the children.

  Gather the orders, check that each has either full credit card information or a check attached, and return the orders in one batch to Milk & Honey's office.

  We then send the gift sets all to one address (e.g., the school or synagogue) with Milk & Honey paying the shipping costs. The organization is responsible for distributing the gift sets to each purchaser.

• The E-Raiser Method For e-raisers (our term for an internet-based fundraiser), you send an initial email to the organization's email list, and a few days later follow up with a subsequent reminder or two. That's it with regard to work!

  The web does the rest. People on your email list click the live link to our website. Buyers put your organization's name on their order. Each buyer pays his/her own shipping and handling fees, and the books are sent to each individual's personal address rather than to a central location.

• Schools may also send paper order forms home with the children.

• Many schools put up a book sale table at an event where their congregation or community will be gathering—e.g., a communal holiday fair, a congregational annual meeting, etc.
